Miss Sporty Happy Eyes Mascara Review - the most cheerful mascara

Bought this one from Calla a while ago, but because I already had some awesome mascaras at home (the one from Oriflame) didn't use that much. I'm fond of green lately, don't know why, so I started using it again.

I was in a playful mood when I bought it, otherwise I can't explain why I chose a product with such a package. It's not that bad, maybe a little childish due to all those emojis and choice of colors. The thing that annoys me is that the label is falling apart, you can see its corners already lifting and trying to fly away. And I didn't even kept it in my bag, it was nicely put in one of those make-up recipients from Pepco. Beside that, the package is from a strong plastic and I'm satisfied with it. I'll just intent to remove the label and then come face to face to the nightmare that glue can be. And if I succeed that, then it will look like a green alien and I wouldn't know where it came from. Anyways.

The brush is so small I almost got scared when I first saw it. I never had something like this and I was curious how it would work. And then she did her magic and I was pleased with it. My favorite thing is how it separates the lashes and make them individually beautiful. The plastic brush was new to me, but I am totally content with its results.

The formula is lacking in terms of resistance. It can transfer on the inferior lid, but the weather has been so hot these days, I'm also melting.

All in all, the mascara is really good and suitable for teenagers. In my opinion this is what teenagers should use when they first begin experimenting with make-up, but I think I'm old-fashion and the girls nowadays have more brand make-up things than me. If I were a kid again, I would buy it because of its cheerful nature to begin with. And what other mascara promises that it will make you lashes smile? The quality isn't bad either and at that price you can't really say more.

Take care,
A. 😊

L'Oréal Paris Sublime Fresh Toner - the definition of cute but tough

Now that the recipient is almost empty I recall all the memories shared with L'Oréal Paris Sublime Fresh Skin Perfect Purifying Toner. Its title is incredible and so is its formula. Dedicated to normal to combination skin, it promises that it will remove all impurities and leave you with a fresh and clean skin.

It has to be applied on the dried skin, in the evening and morning, using a cotton pad. The most important thing about using this product is don't get it near the eye area at all. It can disturb your eyes, it was upsetting for me, but if you take care, it won't bother you.

Never have I tried a toner so aggressive. Its smell has a vibe of alcohol (it contains it, lol) and it remains present throughout the application and a little bit after. Why am I saying it is aggressive? Maybe it's just my skin, but if you have any kind of wound, imperfection or a dried area, it is uncomfortable to use.

It does clean your skin but I was eager to apply it fast so that the smell would fade. However, it leaves a feeling of clean skin and despite the smell the formula is actually really smooth. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin or hard to manage when you apply it. It dries fast and like I said, it leaves a neat feel, like the one you get when you change the sheets with a fresh, clean one. In fact, it would be perfect for someone who has a red, inflamed skin as it cools down the skin.

Its principle is simple: it is hypoallergenic so it eradicates the bacteria and prevents the development of imperfections and the other area of action is removing the dead cells.

It may seem another useless step in the complicated world of skincare routines but don't get me talking about the importance of that. It's not a step to be neglected. View it like that: you like when you see other have porcelain, smooth, pore-less skin but if you don't act yourself you're never going to get that. You have here a super delightful article about toners where you can read about its importance and steps to use it.

The package is nice, the color and bottle are really pretty. It has 200 ml and with no parabens. It's has a nice shape and it's easy to open and use. It isn't that expensive, I bought mine from Calla, a shop I'm so fond of and lucky enough to have in my small city. It's also the place I'll probably buy my next toner from.

Don't forget that the best part of the skincare routine is that you can make your own personalized ritual. Have fun discovering and don't forget to be curious.

Farmec Tratament Expert Lotiune cu Vitamina B5 - not all heroes wear capes, some wear brushes

Before I was to go in my holiday, I had a problem with my nails. They would exfoliate, they didn’t grow, they would break immediately, long story short, it was a nightmare. Maybe because I was stressed, I do not know the cause of that nightmare, all I knew it was that I had to find a solution. On top of that, I was invited to be a model for a nail course and the timing couldn’t be worse.

Luckily the course was postponed but I still had to go the trip I had planned since spring. I reading an article the other days about things to prepare for your vacation and among them was the nails. Went to a pharmacy and asked for something to repair my nails. At the drugstore near my house I overheard someone ask for a nail treatment from Farmec so I had an idea they have something like that. At the pharmacy they recommended me some pills and I was terrified they would make an effect after months. I began telling about a lotion I heard and they were kind enough to order for me.

There were like 8-9 days before my friends and I were had to leave and it said on the package I had to use it daily for a week, then two or three times every week. It doesn’t indicate how many times you should use it daily and because I put it on my desk at work, I used it often. I was desperate and ashamed I let my nails get like that and can’t say how grateful I am to this lotion.

It contains vitamin B5 and keratin to strengthen soft, fragile or exfoliating nails. Once the lotion is dried, you can apply nail polish. All things have a darker side and this product contains formaldehyde; from my research it is a toxic substance for human health if there is a long term exposure by inhalation. Humans are affected by it in a more or less on daily basics but I found it correct to be informed that the nail treatment contains it.

Another thing to take into account, that is very important and you shouldn’t ignore is that you have to protect the cuticles with grease or oil. Trust me on this; you’ll regret if you don’t cover any scratch you have. It happen to me, I had a little scratch near my nail and didn’t believe it would be that bad. My tears were the proof I should follow the instructions. Also, it can dry the skin around the nails seriously so make sure you have a hand cream near by.

Now let’s speak of the effects. It took only a week to see it work. Never thought it would act so fast and believe me, I wouldn’t say otherwise if not true. First the nails started to feel stronger and thank God they would not scratch and break at any touch. Now they have finally grown and I’m very proud of them. I have used nail polish and when I take it off, I make sure I use the lotion again and take a day or two breaks, just so I wouldn’t expose my nails to so many chemicals at once.

These are my nails after two weeks using this lotion

The package is okay, has 11 ml and even though I used it a lot, there is still much left. I can help others have pretty nails too. The only thing that annoys me is the cap, it appears it can be loose even if I tried to close it properly.

I never expected Farmec to have such a good product. I haven’t used something from them since I was a child and would borrow my mum’s and aunt’s face lotion. I was fond of them because of my childhood memories and now I’m surprised and content the lotion is so effective.

Can’t tell at the moment if it has side effects but just wanted to share with you something that helped my nails recover.

Thoughts on the Oriflame OnColour collection

Oriflame has stepped up the game with a summer collection and I couldn't be more glad about it. Always thought they were more associated to an elegant look, skincare being the thing they promoted the best.

However, OnColour is a prove that they are trying to catch up with the latest trends and they kind of succeeded.

They made color their first concern and they nailed it. Speaking of nails, their nail polish line is super cute, the package is small but it would still last you a summer. It is adorable how they incorporated the summer theme in the line. The shades are various and fashionable. Nowadays you can't have good manicure without base and top coat so don't forget that.

The pencils are playful and of course, colorful. They have a powerful pigmentation and encourage your creativity. Be careful what look do you chose, there can be some product transfer. But if you look on the bright side, they are easy to blend.

The mascara is resistant and that my favorite part of it. Wore it in my vacation and I was so glad I didn't have to be worried about having panda eyes.

The lipsticks are a strong advantage of this line. Their creamy formula is very pigmented and have impressive colors. Never thought about wearing a purple shade, but fell in love with it. It is comfortable to wear it, you even forget you're having it on your lips.

Another strong benefit of this line is the concealer stick. Had doubts about it to be honest, but now it is my favorite product from the line. It doesn't dry the skin like the concealers I had before and it really illuminates your complexion.

All in all, it was nice seeing Oriflame come out with such confidence and line. It was refreshing to see them so daring and they not only succeeded in creating a colorful line, but also with quality products with kind formulas. It has made my summer more colorful.

Hope you have a memorable summer.
